Rightly popular traditional cafe and bakery. The mince pie, peas and gravy is highly recommended for just over a fiver, and that's to eat in. Big thumbs up for their pork pies too. Spotless throughout, including the facilities.

I visited the cafe today, amidst the storm. And the service was excellent. The food was beautifully, and the atmosphere is friendly. They know their customers, and do assist you with any request should you need it. They saw I now use a walking cane and brought all to my table. X

They serve this christmas scone with dried fruit and xmas spices… best scone i’ve ever had!
Home style bakery. Lots of bread and buns. Range of scones all good. Pasties,sausage rolls,then pies. Sandwiches eat in or to take away. New store has a cafe that is busy

I've always said the fadgies here are the closest to those my late Nana used to make every Saturday when I was a kid. Lovely memories. This is a really nice bakery & cafe with pleasant staff.
Only had drinks which were nice. Staff very friendly and attentive. Nice spot to sit and watch people go by.
This was my first visit, but it wont be my last..The que at the door this cold lunchtime caught my eye..So I thought it must be special..On my return after lunch I was rewarded with the most fantastic fruit scones...See you again very soon👍
